Hey, I'm Dan

I'm a qualified and experienced Clinical Counsellor and Psychotherapist offering counselling and therapy in Brisbane and online. My specialty is providing counselling to those who have experienced trauma, domestic violence, abuse and assault through a drawing and visual based therapeutic approach.

I practice evidence-based therapies to aid people with:

Trauma and complex trauma counselling (such as domestic violence, sexual assault, and abuse),
Stress, anxiety, depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), flashbacks and other trauma-based effects,
Post diagnosis (or no diagnosis) (e.g. Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) etc.) counselling,
Family counselling (including dyadic therapies and internal family systems),
Therapy for teenagers and young adults, and
Children's counselling (play-therapy and expressive therapies)

My counselling and therapy services are available to children (ages 4+), adolescents, teens, young adults, families, individuals and couples.

No referral or mental health care plan is required to book however, please note that my services are not eligible for Medicare rebates.

My counselling space is located in East Brisbane, where I offer in person therapy sessions with telehealth and online counselling available for anyone outside of Brisbane and anywhere in Australia through Zoom (video session).

Approved for funded sessions through the NDIS.
VAQ (Victim Assistance Queensland) approved.
Registered with WorkCover QLD and iCare (previously WorkCover NSW).
Working with Children (blue) Card (issued by the Queensland Government).
